Geotest - Marvin Test Systems, Inc. Relocates to Irvine
Irvine, CA (August 8, 2001) – Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a global manufacturer of PXI and PC-based automated test equipment (ATE) products and turn-key test systems, announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Santa Ana to Irvine, California. The move to the new facility at 17570 Cartwright Rd, Irvine, CA 92614 is effective August 6, 2001.
The move is part of Geotest-MTS' plan to restructure its company profile to meet the changing demands of the ATE industry. Geotest-MTS is launching a new marketing campaign direction encompassing the new PXI test platform and requires the new building for expansion and growth. Geotest-MTS is a leader in the ATE market with its development and focus on PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) and PC-Based products. PXI was developed to bridge the gap between desktop PC systems and high-end VXI and GPIB systems and is fast becoming the standard for test and measurement applications.
"Our new headquarters will allow us to expand our R&D, production, and sales departments while providing a high-visibility corporate image," says Loofie Gutterman, Geotest-MTS' Chief Operating Officer. "PXI is becoming a standard platform for test applications and our new building will support the growing demand for PXI systems."
The addition of Lynn Murdock as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing has also been a strategic placement in the company's direction. Through years of experience in the Test and Measurement industry, he brings with him a strong focus on meeting customer application requirements. "The move couldn't come at a better time. We are strengthening our presence in the industry, providing a higher level of customer support and at the same time giving our company a more modernized look," says Lynn Murdock. He also adds that the strategic layout of the new facility provides for a professional training environment and will foster a greater team atmosphere for the employees.
