AUTOTESTCON will feature Marvin Test Solutions’ CEO Steve Sargeant in its plenary session "Automatic Testing for the Next Decade - Keeping Pace with the New Military" on September 18. Today’s 4th generation aircraft have armament systems with new smart weapons, bearing little resemblance to the original systems; yet, maintainers are still required to use the same or similar armament circuits preload test set (ACPTS) used for earlier aircraft – creating a test gap for today’s armament systems. As a Major General USAF (Ret.), CEO of Marvin Test Solutions, and Vice President of Strategic Development for The Marvin Group, Steve Sargeant will shed light on changing needs in the market and where test efforts should be focused to overcome the armament test gap and maintain flight readiness for today’s smart weapons and advanced aircraft.
