Geotest President Named PXI Systems Alliance Director of MarketingIrvine, CA (Jan. 29, 2003) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc. President Loofie Gutterman was recently named PXI Systems Alliance’s (PXISA) new director of marketing where he will oversee all of the Alliance’s marketing efforts. Mr. Gutterman will focus on promoting the use and expansion of PXI in industries such as data acquisition, test & measurement, factory automation and more.
"I am pleased to have this opportunity to work closely with the Alliance," said Mr. Gutterman. "I believe PXI has the perfect combination of technology, performance, functionality, and low cost that engineers and managers are looking for in a new test platform."
PXI was developed to bridge the gap between desktop PC systems and high-end VXI and GPIB systems, offering end users a cost effective solution to other platforms.
Under Mr. Gutterman’s leadership, Geotest became one of the first pioneers in the PXI industry. In 1999, Geotest shifted most of its R&D efforts to develop PXI products. Today, Geotest offers a wide range of PXI products including chassis, remote and embedded controllers, analog and digital test instruments, switching cards, programmable power supplies, and more.
