Geotest Expands Representative Coverage to Western U.S.IRVINE, Calif. (July 1, 2003) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a global supplier of electronic test equipment for aerospace, semiconductor, telecom, medical, industrial and military applications today announced the addition of L.A. Sales, Sierra Sales, North Coast Sales, and Nor'West Sales to its domestic sales representative team for complete Western regional coverage.
The companies, all launched by the same individuals, were founded to provide professional sales representation for high technology electronics manufacturers throughout the Western U.S. Beginning with the establishment of L.A. Sales in 1989, and followed by the subsequent opening of the other office locations, the companies have enjoyed great success as manufacturer's representatives.
Committed to outstanding customer service, the L.A., Sierra, North Coast and Nor'West Sales teams are made up of salespeople with engineering backgrounds, and the technical proficiency to address needs throughout all product lines. In addition to their strong sales support, the teams will represent Geotest products at tradeshows, local seminars and events, as well as dedicating personnel for internal account management, literature fulfillment, telemarketing, accounting and customer follow up functions.

The sales engineers for each representative team are located within their assigned territories in order to quickly handle any needs that might arise with a customer. With a professional sales force experienced in a number of technologies ranging from digital and analog electronics to technical marketing and test engineering, the Sales teams bring familiar regional account bases and a broad array of skills to the Geotest team.
"The sales engineers' combined backgrounds, and the companies' commitment to long-term relationships, were key to our decision to have them represent our products in the Western region," adds Murdock.
Adding Geotest to their list of manufacturers also provides the Sales teams with the opportunity to further expand their account base in the West. "Up to this point the list of manufacturers that we represent had not reached into the test industry," says Lee Davis, president and founder of the Sales teams. "By joining with Geotest, we are able to tap into the growing PXI marketplace."
L.A. Sales represents Southern California and Southern Nevada; Sierra Sales represents the Rocky Mountain States; North Coast Sales handles Northern California and Northern Nevada; and Nor'West Sales covers the Pacific Northwest.
