Bridging the Armament Test Gap
Aircraft
Over the years, modern fighter aircraft have received numerous upgrades to their avionics and armament systems. From the F-35 to the A-10, all of the aircraft now possess "Smart" (Mil-STD 1553 and 1760) weapons technology and enhancements to legacy weapons. Today’s armament systems do not even resemble the systems Air Combat Command (ACC), deployed almost four decades ago. The advanced Smart armament and munitions employed today, combined with obsolete or inadequate test equipment deployed on the flightline, has created an armament test gap because of the inability of today’s O-Level testers to provide the necessary tools to test and maintain armament and munitions.

Read the Armament Test Gap white paper to learn more about:
- How advanced O-level testers can help solve the armament test gap
- How Marvin Test Solutions is addressing the test needs for both legacy and
   next-generation test on the flightline
- The MTS-3060 SmartCan armament tester – an advanced, O-level test set
for testing legacy and Smart weapons systems
