To display the Discrete page of the Output I/O operation, first select the Output operation from the I/O Operations View. Then, open the Properties window for the operation by selecting Properties from the View menu. Finally, select the Discrete property page. The output parameter type must be numeric in order to enable the fields on this page.
The following fields are available:
Lists the string options and their values. If the parameter contains a specified string, its corresponding value is used in the operation.
Enter a value that represents the string in the String edit box. For example, you can enter a value of 1 to represent the string FUNC "VOLT:DC"
Enter a string that is represented by the value in the Value edit box. For example, you can enter the string FUNC "VOLT:DC" to be represented by the number 1.
Click to add the values specified in the Value and String edit boxes to the Discrete String list.
Click to delete the selected Discrete string from the Discrete String list.
Click to change the values in the selected Discrete String list using the values from the Value and String edit boxes.
