The General tab of the Properties window displays only for ATEasy programs, drivers, systems, and projects.
To display the Properties General tab, select a module (program, driver, or system) or a project in the Workspace view to display it in the Module Tree View. Select the module or project in the Module Tree View. Then open its Properties page by clicking the Properties icon, or right-clicking to select Properties, or selecting Properties from the View menu. Select the General tab.
Enter a name for the object using the Identifier Naming Conventions.
Enter a default name for the module shortcut object created when you inserted the module into a project or in a system. The default name should be similar to any identifier, see Identifier Naming Conventions.
A default name can be entered for a program or a driver object. The System module shortcut name is always System.
For a driver the default name should specify its instrument type such as DMM or SCOPE.
You can enter a relative path, absolute path, or file name as explained in File Paths. You can use the File Browse button
to select a file or the Right arrow button
to use Path Variables.
