This section describes the requirements for calibrating Marvin Test Solutions “GX1034 Certification and Verification Module” 3U PXI Board.
Supported Devices: GX1034.
Program: GX1034.
Recommended Calibration Interval: 1 Year .
Required Hardware:
1. GX1034 Board.
2. GX1034 Calibration harness, part number GX99035.
3. BNC male-to-male cable (connecting the Gx1034 10MHz ref out to the counter).
4. BNC Male to Dual Banana Female adapter.
Required Software:
1. ATEasy run-time (see the ReadMe.txt for supported versions).
2. CalEasy v1.4.9 or newer.
3. Standards driver manufacturer software as specified below.
Required Standards and Capabilities:
1. DMM – 8 ½ DMM with VDC and
IDC measurement functions.
Provided instrument drivers: Agilent 3458, Keithley 2002.
2. COUNTER –
Universal Counter with at least 10 digits of measurement accuracy.
Provided instruments drivers: Marvin Test Solutions GX2200, Keysight
Technologies 53131A, 53132A, 53210A, 53220A, 53230A.

The following diagram shows the calibration harness connections in order to calibrate the GX1034 board.

BNC Male to Dual Banana Female adapter

BNC male-to-male cable (connecting the Gx1034 to the counter)
1. Connect the GX1034 Calibration Harness to the Gx1034 front commentator named “Standards Bus”. Connect the two dual bananas to the DMM input HI & Low and to the Sense Hi & Lo.
2. Connect the BNC male-to-male cable to the Gx1034 “10MHz Ref Out” and to the Counter first channel.
1. Start CalEasy.exe executable.
2. Select standards instruments for DMM.
3. Select standards instruments for Counter.
4. Click Start.
5. Select the verification and calibration program mode: Verify, Verify and if Passed, Update Calibration Date, Verify and Calibrate If Required or Calibrate.
6. Run Calibration Program.
7. Follow the prompted harness connection messages.
Verification – About 15 minutes.
Calibration – About 20 minutes.
