The DIO System is made up of Master and Slave(s) circuit boards. The Master board can be connected to a maximum of seven Slave boards. Each board must have an I/O Module.
All boards are (Master and Slaves) connected through a 20-pins timing ribbon cable. The timing cable distributes clock, control and status signals. The ribbon cable connected from J7 on a Master board to J7 on each of the other Slave boards. See Installation and Setup for more details about board installation.
