The DIO Driver accesses the Master and Slave boards through the computer’s PCI/PXI bus (see the figure Two Different DIO Domains on One PC Bus bellow). The driver can accommodate up to 16 masters and each master can have up to 15 DIO slave boards. All configuration and address allocation is performed via the DIO driver.
