IVI Driver Files

To use the IVI-C driver you must install the following items:

• VISA shared components. You can download and install NI-VISA from ni.com or Keysight IO Libraries Suite from keysight.com.

• IVI shared components. You can download and install it from IVI Foundation  ivifoundation.org , ni.com (called IVI compliance package) or keysight.com.

• Install GxDmm after installing the above. This will copy the IVI driver files to the IVI and VISA 32/64-bit folder:

• Include folders – C Header files: GxDmm.h, and GxDmmIvi.h, these files must be included in your C/CPP source files.

• BIN folders – Dynamic Link Libraries: GxDmmIvi.dll

• Lib_x64 and Lib folders – Microsoft Import Libraries: GxDmmIvi64.lib and GxDmmIvi.lib. For Borland format GxDmmIvi.lib. These files must be included in your C project link command.

• IVI-C example is provided in GxDmm and installed under the GxAO main folder: under \GxDmm\Examples\IVI-C with MS Visual Studio project.
