The GX1164 is a Programmable Resistors card with:
Eight independent resistors channels organized to two 4 channels groups
Actual resistor and relay resistance is stored in the on-board EEPROM
Default factory resistor channel range can be set 1W to 255W for channels 1, 3, 5 and 7. 256W to 32,768Wfor channels 2, 4, 6 and 8. The board can configured to accommodate different resistors, call Marvin Test Solutions for more details.
Channel 1, 3, 5 and 7 can be connected to an adjacent channel (channels 2, 4, 6 and 8) to provide better accuracy and higher resistance.
Each group of four channels can be used in wiper mode
The resistance channels are connected to a 25 pin D-type connector.
The GX1164 is a Programmable Resistors card with the following features:
Four or eight Programmable Resistor Channels.

Five different models are supported: Gx1164 with resolution of 1W, Gx1164-2 with resolution of 2W, Gx1164-4 with resolution of 4W, Gx1164-8 with resolution of 8W and GX1164-0.25 with a resolution of ¼ ohm.
The Gx1164 model supports the following programmable configurations:
o 4 Channels each ranges from 1W to 64KW with 1W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 1W to 128KW with 1W resolution.
o 1 Channel ranges from 1W to 256KW with 1W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 1W to 64KW Potentiometer with a Wiper and 1 resolution.
The Gx1164-2 model supports the following programmable configurations:
o 4 Channels each ranges from 2W to 128KW with 2W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 2W to 256KW with 2W resolution.
o 1 Channel ranges from 2W to 512KW with 2W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 2W to 128K Potentiometer with a Wiper and 2W resolution.
The Gx1164-4 model supports the following programmable configurations:
o 4 Channels each ranges from 4W to 256KW with 4W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 4W to 512KW with 4W resolution.
o 1 Channel ranges from 4W to 1024KW with 4W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 4W to 256KW Potentiometer with a Wiper and 4W resolution.
The Gx1164-8 model supports the following programmable configurations:
o 4 Channels each ranges from 8W to 512KW with 8W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 8W to 1024W with 8W resolution.
o 1 Channel ranges from 8W to 2048KW with 8W resolution.
o 2 Channels each ranges from 8W to 512KW Potentiometer with a Wiper and 8W resolution.
The GX1164-0.25 module supports the following programmable configurations:
o 4 channels, each supports values from ¼ ohm to 16K ohm
o 2 channels, each supports values from ¼ ohm to 32K ohm
o 1 channel, supporting a value from ¼ ohm to 64K ohm
o 2 channels, each supporting values from ¼ ohm to 32K ohm
The board can be configured to accommodate different resistors to accommodate customers’ specifications.
Channels are connected via a 25-pin D-type connector.
