All GX1838 boards have the same basic packing list, which includes:
1. GX1838 Board
2. GXPDO Software CD
After removing the board from the shipping carton:

1. Remove the board from the static bag by handling only the metal portions.
2. Be sure to check the contents of the shipping carton to verify that all of the items found in it match the packing list.
3. Inspect the board for possible damage. If there is any sign of damage, return the board immediately. Please refer to the warranty information at the beginning of the manual.
All GX1838 instrument boards are designed to run on PXI compatible computer running Windows XP and above, LabView/Real-Time or Linux.
Each board requires one unoccupied 3U PXI bus slot. The board is a PXI hybrid slot compatible.
