Introduction

The GX5733 is a 3U PXI instrument board that provides four ports of 32 channels parallel input and output for a total of 128 channels. The four ports are composed of three Digital I/O ports and one port that can be configured using variety of I/O Modules interfacing different UUTs.

The three TTL level Digital I/O ports channels have TTL levels, and the direction of each group of eight channels can be programmed as Input or Output.

The I/O Modules port expands the ability of the GX5733 by mounting different I/O Modules. Those I/O Module enable the GX5733 to acquire or transmit 32 channels vectors each by using high-speed FIFO as well as interfacing different voltage levels, compare data on the fly and output high power signals to name a few.

All installed I/O Modules can be programmed to run using internal or external strobe. When using the internal strobe the I/O Module can use any of eight available PXI signals or two internal programmable clock signals.
