Cutting Objects

To copy items such as objects or text into the Clipboard for later pasting and remove them from their current location, do the following:

1.      Select the item. For information on selecting objects, see Selecting Objects.

2.      From the Edit menu, select Cut or press CTRL+X. The item disappears from its original location.

You can now use the Paste command to paste the object as explained in Pasting Objects.
