Undoing/Redoing Changes

If you make a change that you want to undo, select Undo from the Edit menu.

To redo a change on which you used Undo, select Redo from the Edit menu.

Undo and Redo operations always work on the Active Document. Always include the name of the operation that is being undone/redone (for example, Undo Delete, Redo Insert).

Saving your document may be set to clear the Undo stack, see the Workspace Option page for more information. Normally, You can undo and redo changes even after you have saved a version of your document.

Undoing operation that span through multiple documents such as Replace All may require you to invoke the Undo command multiple times for each document that was changed. You will need to activate the document and select the Undo command for each one.
