You can control how ATEasy saves your workspace or files through the Workspace Options tab, as shown in Workspace Options.
Select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, select the Workspace tab.
1. To save all Workspace files automatically whenever you run a program, select Save All Before Running.
2. To make ATEasy prompt you before it saves files, select Prompt Before Saving.
3. By default, files are ordinarily saved in a binary format. You can save files as text by default. Files saved as text have an extension that ends in the letter T. For example, driver files that ordinarily use the extension DRV use the extension DRT when save as text. You can also select both file formats - Binary or Text as default (version v7) - then both files are saved. See file formats save options for more information.
Among other advantages, text files can be edited with any text editor and different text files can be compared to highlight differences. You can easily load this text file into ATEasy and save it as a binary file as necessary and vice versa.
