Use this dialog box to add a command that runs an external application under the Tools menu, for more information about external tools see Customizing the Tools Menu.
Lists the titles of the items currently added to the Tools menu. Use the Move up and Move down arrows to change the order the items that appear on the menu. Use the Delete button to remove an item from the menu.
After clicking New, type a name for the new menu command here. Use the ampersand (&) before a letter to make it a keyboard shortcut. For example, enter the name &Notepad here so that you can open Microsoft Notepad by pressing Alt+N (pressing Alt+T, N is a shortcut to the Tools menu, then to Notepad). After entering the new tool's title, press Enter.
If you want to modify an existing item, double click the item which in turn will open an edit box.
Click here to add a new menu command. A text bar appears in the Menu Contents edit box where you can enter the name of the new tool.
Removes the tool or command from the Menu contents list as well as from the Tools menu.
Moves the selected tool higher in the list of tools that appear on the Tools menu.
Moves the selected tool lower in the list of tools that appear on the Tools menu.
Specifies the path to the executable file (.exe, .com, .bat, .cmd), or other file that you intend to launch.
You can use the browse (...) button to navigate to the directory for the tool path, or create an expression that contains Path Variable(s). Use the right arrow button to insert a Path Variable from a list of predefined variables (v9.0). Path Variable has the format $(PathVariableName), where PathVariableName can be one of the items displayed in the menu or an Environment Variables name. See Path Variables for more information.
Specifies the argument that are passed to the tool command line when the tool is selected on the menu. Arguments can specify values that are passed to the tool or command when it is launched. For example, a value can specify a filename or directory. You can also use a Path Variable(s) (v9.0) to specify the arguments in a dynamic way. See Path Variables for more information.
Specifies the working directory of the tool. Use the Browse button (...) to select a specific folder or the right arrow button to use a Path Variable(s) (v9.0) to specify the initial folder. See Path Variables for more information.
If it is checked for the selected external tool, then the Arguments dialog box will be displayed to allow you to enter or edit values for the arguments each time you launch the external tool.
Clicking on this button will execute the selected tool..
Closes the Customize dialog and save changes.
