GT95014 Interface Card

This Interface Card is designed to support GT515X to UUT connections. The adapter is designed for connections outside of a host computer. There is no edge connector. Four corner holes are provided for mounting to your test fixture.

The GT95014 (the figure below) routes a standard, 50-pin, UUT-side header at J2 to a VHD, 68-pin, GT515X side connector at J1.

Insert your appropriate termination resistor networks into Resistor Termination Block sockets at UR1 – UR4, as needed.

Note: This board is to be used with I/O modules that have GND as VTLO0 and VTLO1. This is due to the 95014 having VTLO0 and VTLO1 connected to GND.

Connecting GT95014 Interface Cards

The GT95014 connects a GT515X board to a UUT much like the GT95012 connects a GT25/50-DIO.

The GT95014 also has termination resistor network sockets. It does not have a connector block for external power, however. There are no jumpers. Power to the resistor network is delivered through the DIO cable.

See Appendix A - Connectors and Cables for more information.

DIO and UUT Interconnections

The GT95014 is similar to the GT95012. There are two 68-pin connection devices. Male header, J2, connects to a UUT cable. Male connector, J1, accepts a GT515X cable. The GT95014 card does not support GT25/50-DIO boards.

UR1 - UR4 provide sockets for user-supplied resistor-divider type terminators. Unlike the GT95012, there is no provision for external power. Terminators get power over the cable from the DIO host.

Each terminator package has two pins. Eight pins are for signal and two are for power. Termination pin numbers correspond to GT515X I/O pins, which were identified in an earlier section.
