Geotest Unveils F-15 Beercan Armament Circuits Preload Test Set AUTOTESTCON 2005 - Irvine, CA (September 19, 2005) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a Marvin Group Company, announced the release of the Armament Circuit Preload Test Set (ACPTS). The ACPTS, also known as Beercan, is a flight line tester for the F-15 Eagle incorporating voltage detectors, circuit selectors, and cable assemblies.
Designed for preflight armament testing of the F-15, the Beercan supports all F-15 weapons systems and is used to verify the functionality and safety of these systems prior to the loading of live munitions. The unit’s on-board microprocessor provides all necessary control and measurement functions for testing of specific weapon test parameters. The durable, watertight chassis design incorporates protective shields – providing protection for the front and rear panel connectors and controls. The ACPTS provides a cost effective alternative to OEM Beercan and related assemblies.
