Document Views are Tabbed windows that display document content. Each window is also associated with a tab below the Client area used to activate the window. The Document View window title bar displays the filename of the document displayed. If an asterisk appears next to the filename in the title bar, the document contains unsaved changes. If the filename in the title bar has no file extension, the file is newly created and has never been saved.
