The Sharing tab of the Properties window displays only for ATEasy programs, drivers, and systems.

To display the Properties Sharing tab, select a module (program, driver, or system) in the Workspace view to display it in the Module Tree View. Select the module in the Module Tree View. Then open its Properties page by clicking the Properties icon, or right-clicking to select Properties, or selecting Properties from the View menu. Select the Sharing tab.

Versions

Click the Versions button to display the File Versions dialog box. You use this dialog box to save different versions of the file as explained in Saving Versions. Click the Close button to close the dialog box.

Last

Displays the number, name, and date saved of the latest version of the object file. This is the version for which you are specifying the Sharing options.

Prompt Version on Save

Select this option if, whenever you save this object, you want ATEasy to ask you if you want to display the File Versions dialog box. Through this box, you can specify the version of the object to be saved as explained in Saving Versions.

Save Version Automatically

Default - not checked. Select this option to automatically add a record containing the time and user name every time the document is saved. For more information on versions, see Saving Versions.

Save Last Version (ATEasy v10)

Default - checked. Select this option to store a Last Version record in the document containing the time and user last saved document. Version prior to ATEasy v10 always store that record. For more information on versions, see Saving Versions.

Use File Encryption (ATEasy v5)

Default - not checked. Check this to encrypt the binary file.  This is used with Module Protection to keep passwords safe.
This encryption is only for binary file, not available for text files.  And also this is not for (binary or text) Project file.

Access  (ATEasy v5)

This combo box contains three module protection accesses: Open, View, and Change, please see the Module Protection description for detailed information. Choose one access, and then enter its password in the edit box below.

Use SN (ATEasy v10)

Default - not checked. Check this option to use the current ATEasy serial number (SN) instead of password. The access to the file will be allowed only if the same ATEasy serial number currently used to the serial number when the check box was checked.

Password (ATEasy v5)

This allows you to enter password for the Access selected in the access combo box above.  This password needs to be verified in the verify edit box below.

Verify (ATEasy v5)

This requires to verify the password you entered in the password edit box.  In order see the passwords to take effect, you need to enter twice the same password.
