Geotest Introduces GP1612H Function Generator
Irvine, Calif. (August 22, 2008) – As part of its successful line of legacy instrumentation replacement products, Geotest has introduced the GP1612H, a 100% form-fit-function replacement solution for the obsolete HP_8112A pulse generator. The GP1612H is 100% drop-in replacement for the Hewlett Packard 8112A, requiring no code modification and offering full compatibility with the HP 8112A’s features and functions.
“As a replacement for the obsolete HP 8112A, the GP1612H offers the most cost-effective replacement solution on the market,” said Loofie Gutterman, Geotest president. “The GP1612H joins other members of our legacy replacement product family in combating the growing problem of test equipment obsolescence.”
Besides full GPIB programming compatibility with the obsolete HP 8112A, the GP1612H’s features include a straightforward front panel display that shows individual parameters and their values; selectable complementary pulse and double pulse – in continuous, triggered, gated and counted burst modes; and selectable predefined amplitude and offset for critical stimulus signal generation for testing of major semiconductor technologies including TTL, CMOS and ECL.
