Your work in the IDE is automatically saved whenever you exit the program or close an object view. (For more information on Object views, see Displaying Objects Views.) However, you can save without exiting by selecting one of the following options from the File menu:
● Save
saves the
active document under its current name. If you are saving a new document,
you are prompted for a file name.
● Save As
saves
the active document under a different name, which you specify in a File
dialog box, or in a text or binary format. For information on these formats,
see File Formats.
● Save All
saves all modified documents. If you are saving any new documents, you
are prompted for their file names.
In general, you want to save files using relative paths rather than absolute paths. This enables you to move files from module to module or project to project without having to re-specify directory locations. To ensure that relative rather than absolute paths are saved, always save the Project file first before saving individual files.
For information on how ATEasy saves files, see Controlling Save Options. For information on saving different versions of a file, see Saving Versions.
