Marvin Test Solutions Appoints Patrick Nichols as Manager of Shared Services
Experienced aerospace, defense, and high-reliability systems operations leader joins MTS to direct technical writing, configuration management, reliability engineering, mechanical engineering, and support services
Irvine, CA – October 15, 2026 — Marvin Test Solutions, Inc. (MTS), a vertically integrated aerospace test and measurement company, today announced the appointment of Patrick Nichols as Manager of Shared Services.
Patrick brings more than two decades of technical management and operational leadership experience across aerospace, defense, automotive, and high-reliability mobility sectors. Throughout his career, he has specialized in building scalable operational architectures, accelerating delivery lifecycles, and ensuring strict compliance with demanding defense and commercial industry standards.
Prior to joining MTS, Patrick served at Leach International Corporation, where he directed Technical Publications, Document Control Administration (DCA), and environmental testing laboratories. Under his leadership, his organization delivered hundreds of qualification reports to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) across thousands of components—maintaining a 100% active status on the Qualified Products List (QPL)—and successfully closed out a landmark $36 million program for Northrop Grumman. Earlier in his career, Patrick spent 17 years at American Honda Motor Co. and Honda R&D Americas, where he directed web and technical publication teams, led service and owner's manual development for flagship products and innovations including Honda, Acura, Marine, Motorcycle, Power Equipment, EV Mobility, the HondaJet, and ASIMO while spearheading process optimization initiatives that generated millions of dollars in savings. He began his career as an entrepreneur at age 19, designing and fabricating custom electrical systems for elite racing platforms ranging from GT and Club Racing to the Baja 1000.
In his new role at MTS, Patrick will direct cross-functional shared services operations across technical writing, reliability, Component, and manufacturing engineering, engineering-document control-data configuration, and technical-support services, focusing on driving process optimization and operational efficiency to support company growth.

Patrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from Cal State University, Long Beach, and is Quality Certified by Honda R&D (G-HQS per ISO 9001).
