Marvin Test Solutions Appoints Gary Tilley as Director of North American Sales
Experienced defense, aerospace, and test & measurement sales executive joins MTS to advance regional growth, strategic account development, and revenue execution
Irvine, CA – October 28, 2026 — Marvin Test Solutions, Inc. (MTS), a vertically integrated aerospace test and measurement company, today announced the appointment of Gary Tilley as Director of North American Sales.
Gary brings more than three decades of sales leadership, business development, and operational expertise across the defense, aerospace, semiconductor, and test & measurement sectors. Throughout his career, he has led high-performing sales organizations, launched new business units, and driven multi-million-dollar revenue growth across major defense primes, commercial aerospace accounts, and military branches including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and USMC.
Prior to joining MTS, Gary served as Fractional CRO and Managing Partner at GATilley Solutions and held executive sales leadership roles at TEVET, where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development and VP of Sales and Marketing. During his tenure at TEVET, he grew annual revenue 40%, launched a dedicated Electronic Warfare Solutions unit, and secured key IDIQ contracts supporting major defense programs such as NGATS, FAAST, and VDATS. Earlier in his career, he held strategic sales leadership positions at Astronics Test Systems, Teradyne, ZTEC Instruments, Novellus Systems, and LTX Corporation. Gary began his career serving in the U.S. Navy and as a Professor of Nuclear Physics at the Naval Nuclear Power School.
In his new role at MTS, Gary directs all aspects of the North American sales organization, focusing on driving strategic growth for MTS's automated test hardware and software platforms, strengthening key defense and aerospace relationships, and expanding market footprint across the region.

Gary completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, holds an M.S. equivalent in Nuclear Physics from the Naval Nuclear Power School (NNPTC), and studied Electronics Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
