Marvin Test Solutions’ (MTS) globally deployed, combat proven MTS-3060A SmartCan™ Universal O-Level Armament Test Set, the most advanced hand-held armament test set available, is now capable of testing all NASAMS' rail configurations.

The SmartCan performs comprehensive test and fault isolation across each of the NASAMS rail's electro-mechanical assemblies, to prevent critical faults and ensure full operation of the rail.  This flexible test set also facilitates the performance of I-Level testing of all NASAMS rails in the field using the SmartCan.

Rugged construction of the handheld SmartCan, when combined with the ability to operate in adverse weather conditions, enables field operation anywhere in the world making the SmartCan the ultimate solution for field deployment and test.  In addition, full parametric data, displayed at test time and stored on the removable solid-state drive, provides the foundation for predictive maintenance and detailed fault analysis activities.

Test Program Set (TPS) development is accomplished utilizing SmartCanEasy (TPS development package), providing customers with the flexibility to develop and integrate new test procedures and programs in-house.  And extensive cybersecurity features, both hardware and software, make the SmartCan the most cyber secure field test set available ensuring protection for platforms and weapons systems.

Next-Generation Hellfire Launch and Integration Capability

Marvin Test Solutions is globally recognized for our innovative and feature-rich test solutions. We’ve leveraged this expertise to deliver advanced AME and SMS solutions, such as our Hellfire Scalable Rail Launcher (HSRL). The innovative, lightweight configuration enables greater range and/or endurance for single- and multi-rail Hellfire/JAGM launch capability.

HSRL’s effectiveness is enhanced by our cutting-edge Stores Management Systems (SMS) including the line replaceable Hellfire Interface Unit (HIU) and Hellfire Interface Assembly (HIA) circuit card assemblies. The HIU and HIA enable integration of the Hellfire missile system onto existing platforms, or existing mission computers. Featuring a small footprint and flexible packaging, they deliver support for all Hellfire missile variants and are upgradeable to JAGM.
