Revitalize Aging Semiconductor Test Systems - June 2024

Where’s the Power?

The GX3116e, a groundbreaking 16-Channel Device Power Supply (DPS), redefines precision in power delivery. With isolated outputs and Kelvin connection sensing, it ensures accurate power levels for every Device Under Test (DUT), providing robust protection with built-in over-current sensing and programmable alarms.

What sets the GX3116e apart is its versatility. Channels can be combined to handle higher currents, adapting to various testing needs. Key features include precise voltage and current measurement, versatile ground sensing options, and high-resolution settings. Each channel operates independently, enabling multiple simultaneous tests with reliable results.

The ability to force voltage/measure current (FV/MI) and force current/measure voltage (FI/MV) on an individual channel basis provides exceptional flexibility. In low current ranges, the DPS can force between -2 V and 10.5 V, and in high current mode (>512 mA), the DPS can force between 0 V and 9.0 V. Multiple channels can be ganged together to achieve higher current levels, with a maximum current output of 2 A per bank; additionally, both banks can be ganged together to extend the total available output current to 4 A.

Ideal for semiconductor component and system-level testing, the GX3116e boosts efficiency and drives innovation. Its design reduces power consumption and simplifies integration, making it a sustainable choice for modern testing environments.

The GX3116e is more than a device power supply—it's a comprehensive solution for the future of semiconductor testing, taking processes to the next level with its powerful, flexible, and reliable capabilities.
