Reduce Test Time, Maximize Readiness

Maximizing mission readiness requires test solutions that streamline logistics, reduce test time, and enhance ease of use. The MTS-3060A SmartCan™ delivers all this and more, providing advanced armament test capabilities in a compact, flightline-ready form. Designed to support Agile Combat Employment (ACE), SmartCan enables operators to test armament quickly and effectively in any environment, minimizing downtime and keeping aircraft mission-ready.

As the most advanced handheld O-Level test solution, the SmartCan eliminates the need for bulky legacy test sets and simplifies training with an intuitive interface. With built-in test routines and comprehensive diagnostics, it can execute tests efficiently with minimal setup, reducing both training requirements and operational complexity. The rugged design ensures ease of transport, making it ideal for rapid deployment and sustainment even in harsh conditions.

When it comes to test times, optimization is critical for maintaining operational tempo and SmartCan significantly reduces the time required to validate system performance, allowing complete and thorough armament checks in a few minutes, which previously took legacy test sets significantly longer. By consolidating multiple test capabilities into a single unit, the SmartCan enhances efficiency while reducing the logistical burden of transporting and supporting multiple pieces of test equipment.

As modern warfare demands increased adaptability, the SmartCan’s ability to support ACE makes it an invaluable tool for today’s sustainment strategies. Whether deployed at a main operating base or a remote location, the SmartCan ensures warfighters have the capability to maintain combat effectiveness.

When Conditions Get Tough, Testing Gets Tougher

Marvin Test Solutions’ GENASYS Rugged product line delivers rugged, portable testing solutions designed to keep mission-critical systems operational in the toughest environments. Engineered for flightline and I-Level support, these innovative systems provide unmatched reliability and precision, ensuring that warfighters have the confidence to deploy with fully functional armament.

The MTS-207 serves as the cornerstone, offering an ultra-rugged PXI-based platform for field testing and data acquisition systems. For armament support, the MTS-209 Common Armament Test Set provides parametric testing with integrated diagnostics for Alternate Mission Equipment (AME), including launchers, bomb racks, ejector racks, and pylons across multiple platforms.

For missile system verification, the MTS-206A Hellfire Field Test Set performs full functional tests on AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, as well as their associated launchers. Complementing this, the AN/TSN-205A/B Hellfire System Test Set ensures complete fire control system diagnostics, testing everything from cockpit switches to launcher interfaces.

With a field-proven track record, rugged architecture, and flexible capabilities, MTS’ GENASYS Rugged product line continues to set the standard for precision and efficiency in military test and measurement, ensuring defense forces have the tools they need to maintain operational readiness with confidence.

The Hellfire Authority

As the industry’s predominant Hellfire Authority, Marvin Test Solutions delivers the most comprehensive suite of solutions, including lightweight rail launchers, innovative Stores Management System (SMS) Mission computers, integration tools, and advanced test sets. With an experience spanning more than four decades, MTS has been the premier ‘one-stop’ Hellfire solution source, building on a proud history that began in 1984.

The state-of-the-art Hellfire Scalable Rail Launcher (HSRL) has been developed in response to warfighter feedback, and their expressed need for reduced weight and expanded configuration flexibility. Leading-edge material engineering, and a DC-only implementation, significantly reduces weight resulting in greater range and/or increased platform payload capacity.

Multiple launcher configurations, compact MIL-STD-1760 rail electronics, and innovative Stores Management System (SMS) computer packaging facilitate quick and efficient integration, substantially decreasing implementation and field deployment times. The HSRL has quickly become the preferred solution for current platform upgrades, and an enabler of future vertical lift and other distributed systems.

A recognized leader in Hellfire armament test, MTS has developed and fielded a comprehensive suite of solutions spanning all maintenance levels. Warfighters supporting high operational tempos on the flightline must quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues, and the MTS-3060A SmartCan™ Universal O-Level Armament Test Set is the preferred solution. It is capable of performing all pre-load and functional checkouts for Hellfire AME quickly and effectively through weapons emulation.

Complementing this capability, ruggedized O-/I-Level test solutions such as the AN/TSM-205B and the I-Level MTS-206A combine the test performance of an I-Level test set in a compact, rugged enclosure suitable for field use. While the TS-201C I-/D-Level test set provides comprehensive Intermediate, Depot, and Production test capabilities, supporting all versions of the Hellfire launcher.

Our team of seasoned Hellfire engineers have decades of combined experience testing and deploying Hellfire solutions, and fielding these on a variety of platforms – airborne, land-based, and shipborne. MTS also offers a suite of integration services and tools that streamline field deployment and can significantly reduce implementation time such as the MT1888 Laser Source Simulator, MTS-8110 Hellfire Platform Simulator, and the MTS-916 Modular Target Simulator.
